3.2. CUTTING ANGLE-HEAD TILT ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 6)
NOTES
The machine is supplied with basic positions calibrated at: 0° 45° sx
DANGER - WARNING
TO CHECK OR MODIFY CALIBRATIONS, PLEASE CONTACT AN AUTHORIZED
AFTER SALES SERVICE CENTRE.
• BLOCK THE MACHINE HEAD BY ACTING ON THE KNOB (19).
• THE MACHINE HEAD CAN TILT UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 45° TO THE LEFT.
DANGER - WARNING
DURING DOUBLE ANGLE CUTTING (ROTATION PLUS HEAD TILTING) HOLD THE
WORK PIECE SECURELY TO THE MACHINE USING THE RIGHT HAND AND GUIDE
THE LOWERING OF THE HEAD WITH THE LEFT HAND (FIG. 7).
Procedure for altering cutting angles
a. lift the upper surface to its maximum height.
b. release the knob (23) (at the back of the machine).
c. tilt the head until it comes up against the stopper at 45° (position calibrated during machine
testing).
d. then block the head in place by retightening the knob (23).
DANGER - WARNING
DURING DOUBLE ANGLE CUTTING (ROTATION PLUS HEAD TILTING) USE THE
CLAMP (14).
DO NOT WEAR GLOVES AND GUIDE THE HEAD DOWN WITH YOUR LEFT HAND
(FIG. 7).
3.3. INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF BAR HOLDER (OPTIONAL Fig. 8)
a. insert support (24) in the relative hole on the base.
b. tighten screw (25).
c. slacken screw (26).
d. position the bar holder (27) in the required position.
e. tighten screw (26).
3.4. INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF CLAMP (Fig. 11)
Insert the pin (28) in one of the special holes on the base (3). Use the one on the right or the
one on the left to suit requirements.
