2. INSTALLATION
2.1. REMOVING THE PACKAGING
Remove the box used to protect the machine during transport, taking care to keep it intact in
case it is needed for future transport operations or storage.
The parts included in the package are:
1 Mitre saw
2 Vertical clamp
3 Additional lower protection
4 Pusher
5 Assembly and Operating Manual
2.2. HANDLING
NOTE - Machine weight:
For information on the weight of the machine described in this manual, please refer to the
relative document with all the technical details provided as an appendix to this manual.
DANGER - WARNING
MACHINES WEIGHING MORE THAN 20 KG MUST BE HANDLED BY 2 PEOPLE.
Lift the machine as illustrated in the (Fig. 2).
2.3. TRANSPORT
Set-up
DANGER - WARNING
DURING TRANSPORT, THE UPPER PART OF THE MITRE SAW BLADE MUST REMAIN
COVERED.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE BLADE IS PROTECTED BY THE SPECIAL TOP
GUARD.
a. Insert the special block by means of the pin (19 - Fig. 1A).
b. Lift the machine. (Fig. 2).
Transport
DANGER - WARNING
TO ENSURE SAFE TRANSPORT OF THE MACHINE, REPLACE IT IN ITS ORIGINAL
PACKAGING.
2.4. POSITIONING/WORK STATION
a. Position the machine on a work bench or on a base at a height of between 900 – 950 mm
from the ground (Fig. 3).
b. In order to ensure the necessary stability, anchor the machine down using the holes provided
on the base.
