USE AS A CIRCULAR SAW (cutting on the upper surface) (Fig. 15)
NOTES
The machine is fi tted with a pusher (35) located in its seat.
DANGER - WARNING
THE RIVING KNIFE MUST NOT BE THICKER THAN THE GROOVE CUT BY THE SAW
BLADE AND MUST NOT BE THINNER THAN THE BODY OF THE BLADE.
DANGER - CAUTION
Check the upper moveable guard is working properly: after lifting it slightly, it must
return to its original position, covering the blade completely.
a. Press the button (2) and lock it by pressing the block button (20).
b. Take hold of the pusher (35) in part (A) and place part (B) in contact with the workpiece
(Fig. 15).
DANGER - WARNING
- POSITION THE WORKPIECE ON THE WORK SURFACE RESTING IT LATERALLY
AGAINST THE SQUARE.
- THEN MOVE THE WORKPIECE FORWARD EVENLY TOWARDS THE BLADE
WITHOUT FORCING IT;
- BEGIN CUTTING BY PUSHING THE WORKPIECE USING THE SPECIAL
PUSHER.
DANGER - CAUTION
The correct position for your hands is shown in (Fig. 15).
c. Press the start button (2) and release it to stop work;
DANGER - CAUTION
NEVER bring hands anywhere near the cutting zone until the blade has come to a
complete standstill.
d. Replace the pusher (35) in its seat (Fig. 1B).
