USE
DANGER - WARNING
THE MACHINE IS FITTED WITH A MAINS SWITCH 36 (FIG. 11) TO BE ACTIVATED
BEFORE ANY WORK IS PERFORMED. ONCE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED,
TURN OFF THE MAINS SWITCH.
DANGER - WARNING
IN CASE OF EXCESSIVE CUTTING PRESSURES, THE THERMAL CUTOUT TRIPS.
RELEASE THE BUTTON (2). WAIT FOR SOME MINUTE AND PROCEED WITH
OPERATION.
DANGER - CAUTION
• NEVER wear gloves when using the machine.
• Before commencing a new job, always remove the cuttings left from the previous
task.
4.1.
USING THE MACHINE AS A MITRE SAW (cutting on the bottom work surface)
(Fig. 11)
a. Remove the lock pin (19) to release the head.
b. lift the head as far as it will go.
c. Securely fasten the workpiece against the base using the clamp.
d. Slacken the knob (33), slide the actuator until it rests against the workpiece,
e. Tighten knob (33) and securely tighten the workpiece by turning the handwheel (34)
clockwise.
f. Take hold of the handle (1).
g. Release head movement by pressing button (9).
H) Press button (2) to commence work.
I) Lower the head slowly until it comes into contact with the workpiece.
DANGER - CAUTION
To avoid breaking the blade, reduce pressure as soon as the blade comes into
contact with the workpiece.

Complete cutting up to the end of the stroke,
k. release button (2) to stop work,
l.
lift the head as far as it will go.
DANGER - CAUTION
NEVER bring hands anywhere near the cutting zone until the head has returned to
its full height and the blade has come to a complete standstill.
