1.3. TYPE OF USE AND CONTRAINDICATIONS.
This machine has been designed and manufactured for cutting operations in mitre saw or
bench saw mode.
PERMITTED USE
This machine, with suitable blades installed, may be used in mitre saw or bench saw mode
for cutting:
• SEASONED WOOD
This machine, with suitable blades installed, may be used in mitre saw mode only for cutting:
• PLASTIC MATERIALS
• ALUMINIUM AND ITS ALLOYS
FORBIDDEN USE
It is forbidden to cut:
• MAGNESIUM
• FERROUS MATERIALS
• ORGANIC MATERIALS AND/OR FOOD STUFFS
• MATERIALS WHICH MAY, UPON CUTTING, RELEASE TOXIC SUBSTANCES.
• IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO CUT DAMP WOOD WHEN USING THE MACHINE IN
BENCH SAW MODE.
• IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO USE THE MACHINE TO MAKE BLIND CUTS.
• IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO CUT METAL MATERIAL WHEN USING THE MACHINE
AS A CIRCULAR SAW.
PERSONNEL AUTHORIZED TO USE THE MACHINE
This machine has been designed and manufactured to be used by qualifi ed personnel with
adequate training, experience and skills. Below you will fi nd a list of basic requirements:
Operators / Apprentices:
• may be male or female
• must be aged 14 or over
• must have full use of both hands
• must have no physical or mental disabilities
• must know and fully understand the contents of the user manual.
PERMITTED AMBIENT CONDITIONS
Ambient condition operating limits:
• operating ambient with a temperature between + 5°C / + 40°C
• relative humidity 50 % at a maximum temperature of + 40 °C at a maximum altitude of up
to 1,000 m a.s.l. ;
• the machine must be used in an environment which is protected from the elements.
DANGER - CAUTION
Despite the machine not having a signifi cant environmental impact, it is in any
case up to the user to evaluate machine use to minimize any possible negative
consequences.
DANGER - WARNING
THIS MACHINE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE
ENVIRONMENTS.
