SET-UP IN CIRCULAR SAW MODE (Fig. 9A)
Install the lower guard (31) of the work bench:
a. slacken the handwheel (32) under the upper left-hand work surface (opposite the motor),
b. affi x the additional guard by inserting the handwheel pin (32) in the safety slot, pushing it
against the upper work surface,
c. secure the guard in place by tightening the handwheel (32),
d. position and then block the operating head in place using the lock pin 19.
Adjusting the height of the upper surface (Fig. 9B)
a. slacken the handwheels (32),
b. bring the rest square (17) towards the blade,
c. adjust the work surface to the required height,
d. tighten the handwheels (32).

REST SQUARE ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 10)
DANGER - WARNING
THE REST SQUARE IS REVERSIBLE AND HAS A HIGH SIDE AND A LOW SIDE.
USE THE LOW SIDE WHEN CUTTING THIN WORKPIECES.
a. Slacken the handwheel (29),
b. slide the square (17), until the required cutting width has been reached.
DANGER - WARNING
THE MEASURE INDICATED CORRESPONDS TO THE DISTANCE FROM THE
CUTTING EDGE OF THE BLADE.
c. Tighten the handwheel (29).
3.7.
WEDGE ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 12)
DANGER - CAUTION
Check that the dividing wedge is in the correct position: between 3 mm - 8 mm from
the blade tooth.
Incorrect positioning of the wedge may lead to dangerous contact between the
wedge itself and the blade.
Should it be necessary, proceed as follows:
a. slacken screw (30),
b. adjust the distance between the wedge and the blade,
c. tighten screw (30).
