TILTING OUTBOARD TO FULL UP POSITION

Stop the engine. Shift the outboard to neutral or forward gear position. Take
hold of the top cowl grip and raise outboard to full tilt up position (a).

Pull out on knob and move the tilt lock to the LOCK position. In the locked
position, the outboard cannot be lowered down.

If the outboard is used as an auxiliary engine, tilt the outboard out of the water
when you plan on using the main power source.
IMPORTANT: If the outboard is used as an auxiliary engine, it has to be
restrained from bouncing while operating the boat using the main power
source. Quicksilver Accessory tilt lock kit (830578A1) is designed to help
support the tilted outboard. BOUNCING CAN DAMAGE THE OUTBOARD
AND THE BOAT'S TRANSOM.

Move the tilt lock down to the unlocked position.

Raise outboard to tilt release position (b) and gently lower it.

BASCULEMENT DU MOTEUR EN POSITION HAUTE

Arrêtez le moteur. Mettez-le au point mort ou en marche avant. Saisissez la
poignée du capot supérieur et relevez le moteur en position maximum de
basculement vers le haut (a).

Tirez le bouton et déplacez le verrou de basculement en position LOCK. Ceci
empêche le moteur de basculer vers le bas.

Si le hors–bord est utilisé comme moteur auxiliaire, faites–le basculer vers le
haut lorsque vous envisagez d'utiliser le moteur principal.
IMPORTANT: si le hors–bord est utilisé comme moteur auxiliaire, il doit être
assujetti pour éviter qu'il ne bouge lorsque le moteur principal est utilisé.
Le kit de blocage du relevage Quicksilver Accessory (830578A1) permet de
soutenir le hors–bord une fois incliné. LES CAHOTS PEUVENT
ENDOMMAGER LE HORS–BORD ET LE TABLEAU ARRIERE DU BATEAU.

Placez le verrou de basculement vers le bas, en position de déverrouillage.

Relevez le moteur hors-bord jusqu'au point de déblocage du basculement (b)
et abaissez-le avec précaution.

COLOCACION DEL MOTOR FUERA DE BORDA EN
POSICION TOTALMENTE INCLINADA HACIA ARRIBA

Apague el motor. Coloque el motor fuera de borda en el cambio de velocidad
neutro o hacia adelante. Sujete el mango de la cubierta superior y levante el
motor fuera de borda hasta la posición totalmente inclinada hacia arriba (a).

Tire de la perilla hacia afuera y mueva el enganche de inclinación a la posición
LOCK (enganche). En la posición enganchada, el motor fuera de borda no
puede bajarse.

Si el motor fuera de borda se utiliza como motor auxiliar, incline la unidad fuera
de borda fuera del agua cuando vaya a usar la fuente principal de potencia.
IMPORTANTE: Si el motor fuera de borda se utiliza como motor auxiliar, se
debe restringir su bamboleo mientras se impulse la embarcación con la
fuente principal de potencia. El juego accesorio de enganche de la
inclinación Quicksilver (830578A1) ha sido diseñado para ayudar a sujetar
el motor inclinado. EL BAMBOLEO PUEDE DAÑAR EL MOTOR Y EL
ESPEJO DE POPA DE LA EMBARCACION.
COMO BAJAR EL MOTOR FUERA DE BORDA A LA
POSICION DE MARCHA

Mueva el enganche de inclinación hacia abajo hasta la posición
desenganchada.

Levante el motor fuera de borda hasta la posición de desenganche de
inclinación (b) y bájelo suavemente.

INCLINAÇÃO DO MOTOR DE POPA À POSIÇÃO

Desligue o motor. Coloque o câmbio em neutro ou na marcha à frente. Segure
a empunhadura da capota superior e levante o motor até a posição máxima
superior (a).

Puxe o botão e mova o dispositivo de trava da inclinação até a posição "LOCK"
(TRAVA). Na posição travada, o motor não pode ser baixado.

Se o motor de popa for usado como um motor auxiliar, incline o motor de popa
para fora da água quando você planejar usar a fonte de energia principal.
IMPORTANTE: Se o motor de popa for usado como um motor auxiliar, o
balanço dele terá que ser restringido durante a operação do barco ao usar
a fonte de energia principal. O conjunto de travamento de inclinação
acessório Quicksilver (830578A1) foi projetado para ajudar a suportar o
motor de popa inclinado. O BALANÇO PODE DANIFICAR O MOTOR DE
POPA E A POPA DO BARCO.

Mova o dispositivo de trava da inclinação até a posição destravada.
5
Levante o motor até a posição de desengate da inclinação (b) e abaixe-o com
cuidado.
