2 Installing the Instrument
This is a Delta-type with corner ground.
Configurations for 400/480 VAC units
Do not connect the Neutral to the instrument.

Surge Protector Installation

A Surge Protector (Kit p/n RP7961A-60007) is required for Keysight models RP7941A, RP7942A,
RP7943A, RP7945A, RP7946A, RP7961A, RP7962A, and RP7963A.
Equipment Damage. The steady-state line rating for the surge protector is 350 VAC
maximum line-to-earth; and 600 VAC maximum line-to-line.
Before getting started, check the following list and verify that you have received these items. If
anything is missing, please contact your nearest Keysight Sales and Support Office.
