TROUBLESHOOTING
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not function
properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified technician
service the tool.

Gasoline Post Driver
Possible Cause(s)
1. Does the spark plug have
too much fuel on it
(Flooded).
2. Does the spark plug not
produce spark.
3. The engine is flooding.
1. No Fuel in carburetor
2. Check to make sure there is
fuel in the gas tank and that
the fuel line is not clogged.
3. Check to make sure the fuel
filter is not blocked.
4. Carbon deposits on the
spark plug.
1. Carbon deposit are
covering the muffler outlet.
2. Check to make sure the gas
cap vent hole and fuel line
are not clogged.
3. Blockage of the air filter
from debris.
1. Carbon deposit found in
combustion chamber.
2. Serious abrasion in active
components.
The head of the chisel is badly
worn.
Suggested Solution(s)
1. Dry the spark plug.
2. Replace the spark plug.
3. Turn off the choke and
decrease the throttle.
1. Prime the engine.
2. Refill fuel tank or clean
the carburetor and the
fuel line.
3. Clean the fuel filter.
4. Remove carbon deposit.
1. Remove carbon deposit.
2. Clean debris from cap.
Clean/replace fuel line.
3. Clean the filter.
1. Remove carbon deposit.
2. Repair/Replace
component.
