Adjustment of the standard open periods
(from 1s to 15 s)
Used to adapt to climatic conditions (loss of heat...) or to protect against noise
disturbance.
Definition of the open period :
The "open period" defines the interval between the moment when no-one is
detected by the "inside" and/or "outside" controls and that when the door starts
to close.
1. By using the control panel
Press the "selection" key until the T1 symbol is
displayed in the corresponding window.
Press the – or + adjustment keys to vary the open
period, displayed in seconds in the adjustment
window.
The door will memorize the last value displayed.
2. By using the remote control
Press directly the – or + TO adjustment keys to
change the value. The T1 symbol is then displayed in
the selection window and its value (in seconds) in
the adjustment window.
The door will memorize the last value displayed.
Check that the setting is sufficient to ensure that people can walk
through the door in complete safety. Think about persons with reduced
mobility, moving slowly ; Also test the setting in « Entry* » and « Exit »
modes. If the door is heavily used, refer to the section on the « traffic »
flow analysis function.
"Traffic Flow Analysis" function
If the traffic flow is heavy, the door open period will increase, thus avoiding
inconvenience due to continual opening and shutting.
The open period will resume its initial value (TO) as soon as the traffic flow
returns to normal.
