Adjustment of the Closing Speed "CS"
(from 10 cm/s to 40 cm/s)
(for British market the maximum value is defined by the door weight)
Used to adapt to climatic conditions (loss of heat...) or to protect against noise
disturbance.
1. By using the control panel :
Press the selection key until CS (closing speed) is
displayed in the selection window.
The adjustment window displays the value in
centimeters/second.
Adjust it using the – or + keys. The door will
memorize the last value displayed.
2. By using the remote control :
Adjust by pressing directly the CS – or + keys. The
selection window then displays CS, and the closing
speed is displayed in the adjustment window in
centimeters/second.
The door will memorize the last value displayed.
A slow closing always gives users a sense of security. Even if your
door is equipped with a facility for reopening if it touches an obstacle, it is
preferable to prevent it from touching users. For example persons with
reduced mobility sometimes move very slowly. Test the adjustment in
"Entry"* and "Exit" modes.
