Use
Igniting the grill and adjusting the flame
NOTICE!
Under unfavourable circumstances (e.g. low ambient temperatures), the
pressure in the cartridges can decrease due to the physical properties
of the liquid gas, which means that the gril will no longer achieve full
performance or may even switch itself off. Therefore, please note:
- Switch the grill off immediately after each use. This way you save gas and the
gas cartridges can heat up again.
- If the performance of the grill is too low, replace at least one gas cartridge with
a fresh cartridge that is at ambient temperature. You can continue to use the
cooled down cartridge as soon as it has reached at least room temperature
again.
Proceed as follows to light the grill and adjust the flame:
• Turn the gas regulator and ignition knob
• Press the gas regulator and ignition knob down and keep it pressed for about
15 seconds even if the flame has been ignited.
• Release the gas regulator and ignition knob. If the flame goes out, repeat the
steps described above and keep the gas regulator and ignition knob pressed
for a longer time.
• Turn the gas regulator and ignition knob to the "MAX" position and allow the
grill to preheat for about 2 minutes before you start preparing the food. Please
note that flaring may occur during the warm up period or if the appliance is
moved. The warm up period lasts approx. 2 minutes.
• You can adjust the flame steplessly in turning the gas regulator and ignition
knob anti-clockwise. Put the knob into the position 'MAX'
flame, position 'MIN'
