General safety instructions
WARNING!

belonging to this device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in

a) C heck that the seals between the appliance and the gas containers
are in place and in good condition before connecting the gas
containers.
b) Y ou can find a picture of the seals on the fold-out page at the
beginning of this operating manual
c) Never use the device if the seal is is damaged or worn. Do not use
an appliance which is leaking, damaged or which does not operate
properly.
d) U se outdoors only.
e) T his appliance may only be operated on a horizontal surface.
f)
K eep the appliance away from sources of ignition such as heat
sources, open flames, dust or inflammable substances. This appliance
must be used away from flammable materials. Maintain a safe distance
of min. 0.5 m on the side from all objects, as well as a min. distance of
1 m from objects over the device.
g) G as containers may only be changed in a well ventilated location,
preferably outside, away from any sources of ignition, such as naked
flames, ignition flames, electrical devices and away from other people.
h) I f gas escapes from the appliance (smell of gas), take it outdoors
immediately to a well-ventilated location away from sources of ignition
where the leak can be safely detected and repaired. Take the device
outdoors before checking for leaks. Do not try to detect leaks using a
flame, use a gas leak detector spray or soapy water.
i)
D o not move the appliance during use.
j)
T he grill should only be used with the drip tray
k) N ever try to dismantle or adjust the built-in gas pressure regulator

since this is an integral and safety-relevant component of the
appliance.
l)
T he air vents on the grill have to be kept clear to ensure proper
combustion.
