Fault
During the welding operation
both straps are cutted.
After sealing and actuating
push-button 3 (66) tension
motor (504) will not turn back,
strap isn‟t released.
After sealing the tool cannot
release the strap.

Cause
Gripper plate (78) dirty or
defective.
Tension force is too high.
Welding time too long.
If the strap cannot be freed.
Tension motor (504) dirty or
defective.
Plastic strap holding unit is
defective.
Compressed air valve defective
or error in the compressed air
system of the device.
Push-button 1 (64) has been
actuated after sealing.
If piston rod (3) is in lower
position, then the welding unit
gripper plate (24) is holding the
strap.

Remedy
Clean gripper plate (78) or
replace it when defective, see
9.3 – 9.4
Set the correct tension force,
see 8.2
Set the correct welding time,
see 8.1
Cut off the strap from the
package and dismount the
bottom plate (77), see 9.3 to
reach the problem zone. Don't
use tools to remove the
stuck strap from the tool.
Contact TITAN – Service.

In this case the tool is blocked,
to release the tool actuate
push-button 3 (66). Don't use
other tools to free the strap!
Cut off the strap from the
package, error is probably at
