Setup

Use the following procedures to set up your spray gun, turbine,
and FineCoat power cart.

Converting the Spray Gun to Pressure Feed

Before using the FineCoat power cart, it is necessary to convert
your spray gun from a cup-fed gun to a pressure-fed gun.
1. Figure 3 - Loosen the retaining nut (3) using a wrench and
remove the one quart cup (4) assembly.
Pull the air tube (2) off of the air tube fitting (1) on the
spray gun.
2. Figure 4 - Remove the air tube fitting (1) using a wrench.
Thread the set screw (2) into the air tube fitting location
and tighten into place.

3. Figure 5 - OPTIONAL - If desired, a temporary air cap (1,
included) can be used to close off the air tube fitting rather
than performing steps 1 and 2, above.

Attaching the Turbine Bracket

1. Insert plastic latch bracket into the bottom of the turbine as
shown.
2. Using a cordless drill with a Phillips driver, insert provided
screws into the casing using a low clutch setting. DO NOT
over-torque.
If the drill does not have a clutch, drive the screw

with the drill until the threads start to engage, and
then tighten by hand.
