Masking Guide for Interior Paint Spraying
If spraying inside of a room, follow the guidelines on
this sheet in order to properly mask anything that
should not be sprayed with paint.
A. If spraying walls, make sure to cover
the ceiling no less than 24" from
where the wall and ceiling meet.
B. Use a small piece of masking tape
placed every few feet to secure the
covering to the ceiling.
C. If spraying a ceiling, make sure to
cover the walls no less than 72" (6
ft) from where the wall and ceiling
meet.
D. Use drop covering to cover the floor
and baseboards.
E. Use masking tape to secure drop
covering to baseboards.
F. Cover any doors or windows with
plastic covering.
G. Use masking tape to secure the
covering to both sides of the door
or window.
