5. Maintenance intervals and work
Hazard due to a sudden release of pressure!
Never remove any parts of the fi lter, or manipulate the same in any
way, for as long as the fi lter is still pressurised! A sudden escape
of pressure may cause serious injuries.
Depressurise the fi lter before carrying out any work on the fi lter.
Danger due to release of a critical gas!
The release of a critical (explosive, fl ammable, poisonous) gas
from the network can constitute a considerable risk for man and
environment.
Therefore heed the following before working on fi lters for critical
gases
— fl ush the pipe section in question with inert gas
— have the notes on hazardous substances for the used gas ready
— take appropriate protection measures
— verify the absence of an explosive atmosphere
