3.1.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

• The communication cable to the centralized controller must be selected according to the following table. Do not use a
cable that does not comply to the instructions in this manual.

N.B.: The cable must be twisted (the wires must be twisted together). A shielded cable must be used if the unit is installed
in places with an intense magnetic field or a strong interference.
• The type of communication cable used to connect the units of the LCI series and the centralised controller, must be the
following:

• Do not install the centralized controller in the following places:
1. Environments with corrosive gases or large presence of dust, salt fog or oil mists.
2. Wet and damp environments that receive direct light.
3. Environment close to high temperature objects or environments where the unit would often be affected by splashes of
water.
