8.10 Regulation of the air flow direction

8.10.1 Vertical adjustment
The SWING function can be used with all the air conditioner's operating
modes and determines the vertical motion of the air deflector thus
obtaining an even distribution of the air in the room.
When the air conditioner is first turned on, the deflector goes
automatically to position D if the heating function or the automatic
heating mode is enabled. In all other modes, the deflector will go to
position L1. When the indoor unit is operating and the SWING function is
enabled, the deflector can move to 7 different positions. In heating mode
in positions L , A , B , C , D , continuous movement from L to D, stopped in
any position between L and D. In all other operating modes in positions
L1 , A1 , B1 , C1 , D1 , continuous movement from L1 to D1, stopped in any
position between L1 and D1. The deflector is closed in position 0.
Attention!
The position of the deflector must be set with the remote control with
the SWING command and never manually, or the deflector could be
damaged.
During operation in cooling mode, if the deflector remains positioned
facing downwards for a long time, drops of condensation may appear.
8.11.2 Horizontal adjustment
The horizontal orientation of the air flow is fixed and must be carried out
manually as in Figure C
