3.6 Voltage, Frequency, Rotary-Field Direction

This measuring mode is enabled automatically in any position of the central
selector before
R
pressing key „Start" .
AC voltages from 0 to 500 V (46 to 65 Hz) may be displayed and frequencies from
15.3 Hz to 457 Hz. Voltages with < 46 Hz or > 65 Hz as well as DC voltages cannot
be measured (display „- - -"). The measured voltage is that between the lines L-PE
and N-PE, the higher of the two being displayed as „U
measuring mode it is possible to call up the voltage between lines N and PE. In the
modes Earth/ground-Connection Resistance, Fault-Current-Protection Circuit and
Loop Resistance / L-PE with connected probe also the voltage between PE and
probe as „U " (condition: „U " must be present). If no protective-wire (PE)

connection is provided for the measurement, e.g. in mode Loop Resistance
