Switching on and power setting
Boost and Super Power Boost

The power can be set to 9 different levels. The hob also has a 'boost'
setting which is indicated by a 'P' on the display (see 'Boost'). The front
left cooking zone even has a 'Super Power Boost' (SP) mode.
1. Place the pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
2. Turn the control knob clockwise to the desired position.
You will hear a signal beep and the set level will appear in the
display. A '0' will appear in the displays of the zones that are off.
The cooking zone is switched on.
▷ See page 8 and 9 to choose the correct mode.
▷ If you don't do anything else, the cooking zone will switch off
automatically after 15 seconds.
▷ To turn off the cooking zone, turn the knob back again
anticlockwise.
The rear left and right and front right cooking zones are equipped with
a 'boost' function. With the 'boost' function you can cook at the highest
power level for a maximum of 1.5 hours. The cooking zone will switch
off automatically once the maximum boost time has passed.
The front left cooking zone is equipped with a 'Super Power Boost'
function. With this function you can cook for a short period – max.
5 minutes – at extra high power. After this period, the cooking zone
automatically reduces to level 9.
Switching on (Super Power) Boost
1. Place the pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
2. Turn the control knob all the way to the right to '9'.
You will hear a signal beep and the set level will appear in the
display. A '0' will appear in the displays of the zones that are off.
The cooking zone is switched on.
3. Now turn the knob yet a little further to the right.
A 'P' will appear in the display. 'Boost' mode is now set.
▷ The front left cooking zone will switch onto an extra high setting
for 5 minutes. The cooking zone will then automatically switch
back to level 9 and level 9 will once again appear in the display.
