4.1. Unpacking the device

WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Risk of injury through electric shock or exposure to
microwave radiation.
 Before using the microwave oven for the first time and after
each use, check the mains cable for damage.
 Do not operate the device if there appears to be any damage
to the microwave oven or to the mains cable.
 Please contact the Medion Service Centre at once if the
product appears to have been damaged in transit.

4.2. General safety instructions

 The microwave oven must be connected to a properly
installed and earthed power socket with a voltage of 230 V ~
50Hz that has at least a 16 A fuse. Extension cables must not
be used.

Risk of injury through electric shock or exposure to
microwave radiation.
 Microwave radiation may leak outside if the device is damaged.
Damage to the mains cable may cause an electric shock.
 If the housing, panels, door, door seals or the door catch are
damaged then do not use the microwave oven under any
circumstances. In this case, remove the plug from the mains
socket immediately.
 Do not, under any circumstances, make any unauthorised
modifications to the device or try to open it and/or repair it
yourself.
 Do not remove any of the microwave oven's internal panels or
the inner coating of the viewing window as this could lead to
microwave radiation leakage.
