Inserting the batteries

Insert the batteries in the
open battery compartment.
Only use batteries of the type
AAA Ni−MH 1.2V. Pay atten-
tion to correct polarity. Close
the battery compartment
cover.

Charging the batteries

When the handset is properly inserted in the base station / charging station, you will
hear an acoustic signal. The handset warms up during the charging process. This is
normal and does not represent a risk. Do not charge the handset with charging units
from other manufacturers. The current battery charge status is indicated in the dis-
play:
