To find the baseline position of the spherical shell tables during
milling (e. g. in order to exchange the milling cutter), insert the
spirit level into the provided borehole at the cross connection
(left) of the spherical shells and adjust the spherical shells
accordingly.

For adjusting the device using the spirit level the spherical
shells must be exactly in baseline position (both scanners slide
easily into the calibration holes). If this should not be the case,
repeat calibration. Place the spirit level upon the largest
mounting peg (2.5 mm) and insert both into the calibration
hole of the right or left calibration plate.

The height of the feet of the machine may be adjusted by
turning. Adjust the feet on all 4 sides so that the machine
stands horizontally and does not wobble.
When the water bubble of the spirit level is within the circle,
the machine is adjusted horizontally.

this adjustment is generally only mandatory during the
initial administration.
The goal is to examine the precision of the system after reset-
ting the Ceramill base to the Ceramill Multi-x using the Upgra-
de Kit, whereby the position of the spherical shells to one
another is to be controlled and/or adjusted. For complete
instruments, these are preset and delivered while set correctly.
Since the components of the Ceramill Multi-x Upgrade Kits
are delivered separately, it is important to check the system
on site before using.
