7. Connection and operation
a) Outdoor sensor commissioning
• First open the battery compartment lid at the rear of the outdoor sensor.
For this, push the lid away downwards and remove it.
• Insert 2 new AA batteries (not enclosed) into the battery compartment (D5) .
Always ensure correct polarity. How to insert the batteries is marked in the battery
compartment by illustrations.
• Before closing the lid again, set the radio channel of the sensor if necessary. Channel
1 is pre-set by default.
You usually only need to change the channel if the sensor is not working properly on
this channel, e.g. if another device is interfering with it.
This also applies if you want to operate more than one sensor. Up to 3 sensors can be
operated. To order a matching sensor, observe the information on the product page
of the projection radio alarm clock on our website www.conrad.de.
To adjust the channel, push the slider D4 from position 1 to 2 or 3, depending on which
channel you want to use.
• Last, close the battery compartment lid again. Push it up until it latches.
• This completes commissioning of the outdoor sensor.
b) Commissioning of the projection radio alarm clock
• First open the battery compartment lid at the bottom of the projection radio alarm
clock.
For this, push the lid back towards the arrow and remove it.
• Then insert 2 new AA batteries (not enclosed) into the battery compartment (A2).
Always ensure correct polarity. How to insert the batteries is marked in the battery
compartment by illustrations.
• After the batteries are inserted, the alarm clock will emit a brief sound and the display
will show all display segments.
• Last, close the battery compartment lid again. Push it forward until it latches.
