Switch off the device, open the pressure relief valve and the housing of the
device filter and clean it.
CAUTION:
Clean the device as follows if a water connection is not available:
Steps:
1. Relieve the pressure (see chapter Pressure relief).
Remove the tip guard from the spray gun.
NOTE:
Used water for flushing water-based paints, and a suita-
ble solvent for solvent-based paints.
2. Switch on the power (set to ON). Set the bypass
switch to the front, spraying position.
3. Turn the pressure regulator clockwise half a turn. Point
the gun into the material bucket. Unlock the trigger lock.
Pull the spray gun's trigger until flushing liquid escapes
4. Now point the gun into a bucket for catching the
flushing water, press against the edge of the bucket and
pull the trigger in order to thoroughly flush the system.
Release the trigger and activate the trigger lock when
clean water (or a compatible solvent) escapes.
5. Open the bypass switch (vertical) and allow the water
(or compatibles solvent) to circulate until it looks clean.
6. Set the bypass switch to the front, spraying, position
and hold the gun into the flushing bucket to discharge the
water (or compatible solvent) from the hose.
7. Lift the pump out of the flushing liquid and allow the
spraying device to run for approx. 15 to 30 seconds to
discharge all the liquid from the device. Switch off the
device (set to OFF).
