Installing the sauna control
The sauna control is mounted at a height of approx. 1.70 m beside the cabin door or as directed by the cabin
manufacturer.
Electrical power comes as a permanent connection. The quality of the mains lead is at least H07RN-F.
CAUTION - damage to the device:
The sauna control is protected from splashing water (protection class IP X4). Nonetheless, the sauna
control must not come into direct contact with water.
Install the sauna control in a dry place.
Do not exceed the ambient requirements of 40°Celsius and maximum humidity of 95 percent.
1. Remove knob 3.
2. Press safety lock 8 lightly and detach the casing cover.
3. Screw in the Phillips screw at a height of approx. 1.80 m and at a distance of 7 mm from the sauna wall (see
detail).
4. Hang casing bottom 1 in position 2 on the mounted Phillips screw.
5. Screw in two Phillips screws, 20 mm in length, in the bottom fastening holes A.
Check for secure fit of casing bottom 1.
CAUTION - Damage on the device:
The K1-NEXT sauna control must be used only to control and regulate 3 heating circuits with a maximum
3.0 kW heating power per heating circuit.
Lay the oven sensor lines separately from other power and control lines in the wire range for extra-low
voltage 4 of the sauna control.
6. Lead the oven sensor wires through the mounting holes 7 (wire range for extra-low voltage 4) in the casing
bottom 1 and connect to terminal 5 according to the circuit diagram.
7. Lead the power, heating and lighting lines through mounting holes 9 (wire range for 230 V / 400 V C) in
casing bottom 1 and connect to terminal B according to the circuit diagram.
8. Connect the grounding wire to the protective-conductor terminal 6.
9. Two switches E are already mounted at the upper housing. (do not remove!)
10. Place the casing cover on the casing bottom 1, swing it towards the bottom and press it until you hear a click.
