Snap the spring tangs in place over the clevis pin.
Tip: To save time, set the turnbuckle length before
putting the unit up. Use the jib halyard secured to a
structural part of the boat to pull the mast forward
to connect the headstay. Release the halyard and
tension the rig using the backstay. Lower the drum
assembly on the foils and snap the stainless tangs
to the ends of the clevis pin.
Raise the foils until the notch in the foil lines up with the
window in the torque tube. Place the key in the notch
with the rounded side out. Slip the torque tube cap
over the top and push down completely.
Tip: When disconnecting don't lose the torque
tube key.
