with the aid of a feeler gauge.
When done, re-tighten the screws 16 fig. 10-11, without applying too much force because
they are fitted with flexible retainer rings.
d) Waxing (BRC1T)
The amount of wax applied can be increased by adding weights 23 fig.10 to the support
22 fig.10. Each weight weighs 5 grams.
d-1) Waxing (BR300)
Since the waxer is usually driven by the yarn, it deposits the optimum amount of wax
on the yarn.
e) Cone stop at required diameter (accessory)
The cone stop microswitch (1 Fig. 7) is normally operated by the magnet (6 Fig. 7) to stop
the head when the cone has reached maximum diameter. To change this diameter, adjust
the position of the microswitch mount (5 Fig. 7).
f) Spring counterweight (BRC1T)
With particularly slippery yarns, screw in the register 19 fig. 7; unscrew it with especially
soft yarns to reduce the weight on the cone.
With the mandrel kit, adjust the clutch (21 fig. 7) if the cone vibrates.
f-1) Single sided counterweight (BR300)
To lighten or weigh down the arm, position the weight (25 fig.7) in the groove require to
achieve the desired result.
Undo the knob (26 fig.7) and position the weight (25 fig.7) as desired, then tighten down
the knob again (26 fig.7), making sure that it is fully tightened down to prevent it unscrew-
ing under the effect of machine vibration.
g) Single-sided BR300 creel ejection slide
At the rear of the single-sided BR300 there is a slide (22 fig.7) for normal creel ejection.
When a creel is finished, raise the arm (23 fig.7) and when it reaches its limit release the
creel with the lever (24 fig.7) so that it falls into the bin at the rear of the machine (22
fig.7). Fit another cone and start again.
