Installation advice
instAllAtion Advice
1.
▸
Do not install the door intercom featuring the
special needs module in a dark place, in order
to guarantee symbol visibility.
▸
Please note as well that the door intercom
needs to be installed with a minimum dis-
tance of at least 0.40 meters from an inner
angle, e.g. a corner, or other obstacles hinder-
ing wheelchair accessibility.
▸
The installation depth (barrier-free access) is
0.85 m.
Notice: This applies to barrier-free accesses
(observe the relevant standards). For instal-
lation depths outwith these default settings,
please mind that the group of people who are
supposed to use the special needs module
(e.g. standing people) have a direct view of
the module.
▸
Set the door open interval to a time long
enough for people with reduced mobility to
open the door before it locks again.
▸
In case you wish to install a door intercom
featuring a camera, the camera angle must be
wide enough to catch any person at your front
door, regardless of them standing or sitting
in a wheelchair. Use the fisheye lens of the
integrated camera to enable such displays.
The photographic objective is swivel-mounted
to suit all occasions. The camera features an
illumination ring that can be turned on and
off. You can perform lens settings when the
camera module housing is open (only applies
to analogue camera 20-2917 / 21-2917).

will only be visible while communicating.

with an analogue camera (see also notice*
