5. Cleaning & Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Device

The device should be checked and dusted regularly (at least every 30 days).
1. Unplug the device.
2. Wipe the outside of the device with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent (please
disconnect accessories if necessary. Please refer to 3.2.3 Disconnecting accessories –Humidifier and
Light grey tubing.)
3. Device should be air-dried thoroughly before use. Inspect the device and all circuit parts for any
damage after cleaning and replace if necessary.
WARNING: To avoid electrical shock, always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before
cleaning the device.
WARNING: Don't try to open this device. Repairs and internal servicing should only be performed
by an authorized service agent. Do not drop any object into the air tubing or air outlet.
WARNING: Please do not repair the device during operation.
5.2 Cleaning the Humidifier (and water chamber)
The humidifier should be checked and cleaned daily (or after every time use) to prevent the growth of
germs that might affect the user's health.
1. Disconnect accessories if necessary. (Please refer to 3.2.3 Disconnecting accessories – Humidifier
and Light grey tubing)
2. Wipe the outside of the humidifier with a cloth dampened with water and mild detergent.
3. Open the water chamber and discard any remaining water.
4. Wash the water chamber with warm water and mild detergent.
5. Rinse the water chamber and allow to dry out of direct sunlight and/or heat. Inspect all parts for any
damage after cleaning and replace if necessary.
5.3 Cleaning the Tubing
The air tubing should be checked and cleaned daily (or after every time use) to prevent the growth of
germs that might affect the user's health (please also refer to the air tubing instruction manual).
1. Disconnect the air tubing from the air outlet of the device (Please refer to 3.2.3 Disconnecting
accessories – Humidifier and Light grey tubing).
2. Wash the air tubing in warm water using mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly, hang and allow to dry. All
