The motor is humming but will not start
The machine won't stop or stops at a
random position
Chain jumping and creaking
Troughs do not invert

11 MANUAL UNLOADING OF TROUGHS

WARNING: before starting any work, activate the main shut-down and disconnect the mains
lead.
The machine may be operated manually in the event of a power failure or any other problem that
might prevent the motor from running:
A. Remove the motor cover by removing the four screws that hold it down.
B. Remove the plastic cap protecting the bearing.
C. Remove the M8 screw on the end of the reduction shaft.
D. Turn the release hub around.
E. Replace the M8 screw on the end of the shaft without tightening it, to hold the assembly
together.
F. Turn the machine over using the ratchet spanner supplied, by engaging it with the hollow
hexagonal section of the drive shaft.
G. After use, re-engage the drive assembly by carrying out steps C, D and E in reverse order.
H. Refit the motor cover.

Check the power supply, a phase may be down.
Check for anything preventing operation of the limit switch
located in the right-hand top panel.
Check chain tension.
Check for correct lubrication.
Check the condition of sprockets.
The four M14 nuts located under the machine must be
removed.
Check troughs are not distorted.
Check the inverting cam.
Check that the Velcro fastenings have not become
detached.
Should the problem persist, please contact your technician.
