Plate maintenance:
Preserve the hob with unsalted cooking oil by applying it with a kitchen towel
or a cloth. Leave the plate for one hour and then wipe away the remaining oil
with a cloth. The grill plate prepared in the described way can be used again
for grilling.
Cleaning:
After each use, the grill must be thoroughly cleaned:
In case of a one-time, short use, simply wipe the grill with a paper towel.
After a prolonged period of use, you can use a special grill scraper (and/or a
sponge or a brush) to collect the remaining food and remove it to the drain
area. After removing the residues, you can dry the surface of the griddle hob
with a clean cloth and preserve the surface as described above.
IMPORTANT: Be careful to keep the scraper at an angle to the surface of the
grill. Do not scrape too deep as it may leave scratches on the surface of the
grill, which will make food stick to the surface.
