The Mini in-line valve is predominantly used in fast-cycling
vacuum systems, e.g. for gas analysis and coating proc-
esses.

When working with vacuum components take the appro-
priate measures to ensure cleanliness and damage pre-
vention.
Remove the protective caps and connect the DVI 205 M via a
connection element (→ Accessories).
Hold the valve stationary
Electrical connection
The electrical connection is established via the two cable
strands. Adhere to the local regulations with regard to the
installation. The polarity of the 24 VDC connection need not
be taken into consideration.
Inductive loads may considerably reduce the service life of
or even destroy contacts.
Preferably a freewheeling diode should be connected in
parallel to the load. The polarity should be chosen in such a
way that the diode blocks when normal operating voltage is
available.
