To store the new setting, press the MODE button on the Ergopower EPS controls
briefly (D - Fig. 2).
At this point, the interface LED flashes 3 times and then turns off.
Once the procedure is complete, the system will modify the positions for all the spro-
ckets, using a correction equivalent to that set again in the setting stage.
IMPORTANT!
If you do not press the MODE key briefly, which allows to complete the setting
procedure, the system will automatically exit the procedure after 48 seconds and
will save the new setting.
Every time a resetting to zero is conducted, previous adjustments are reset.
5.1.1 - SETTING OF THE POSITION OF THE REAR DERAILLEUR
To set the rear derailleur, press and hold the MODE (D - Fig. 2) button on the left-hand
Ergopower EPS control for approximately 6 seconds until the purple LED begins to
flash. Set the position by pressing lever B or C on the right-hand control (Fig. 2).
The procedure makes it possible to adjust the position of the rear derailleur when it
shifts to a specific sprocket.
• The chain moves up from one sprocket (X) to the next sprocket (Y) with difficul-
ty: the position must be set to the sprocket (Y) and the "SINGLE SPROCKET" setting
procedure performed, shifting the position of the rear derailleur inwards (operating lever
B - Fig. 2 / right-hand control).
