3.1

Scope of delivery

Standard supply of the sensor is made up of the following:
– instruction manual
– certificates in accordance with the specifications
– blanking plate
On receipt of the shipment, check immediately:
– The sensor and accessories for any sign of transport damage. Report any damage
immediately to the carrier and to your supplier.
– The type designation on the sensor body.
– For completeness of the supply. Please notify your supplier immediately if the
shipment is incomplete or in any way incorrect.
Notice: A defective sensor must neither be installed nor put into service.
3.2

Packing

The packing consists of cardboard and foam plastic. Keep the packing for possible later use,
such as for storage or transport of the sensor. However, if you wish to dispose of the packing,
please observe your local regulations in this respect.
3.3

Sensor designation

Type designation
A sensor can be identified by the article number and the model name on the label located
on the sensor.
InPro 8600 i / xy
x: D = digital connection of the sensor with a transmitter M800 1-channel
y: 1 = single-angle version (25°)
3 = dual-angle plus colour version (25° and 90° plus colour)
Serial number
The serial number can be found on the label on the sensor.
Sensor certifications
The label located on the sensor provides the information about the sensor certifications.
