Thank you for buying the InPro 8600 i Series sensor from METTLER TOLEDO. The construction
of the InPro 8600 i Series sensors employs leading edge technology and complies with safety
regulations currently in force. Notwithstanding this, improper use could lead to hazards for the
user or a third-party, and/or adverse effects on the plant or other equipment. Therefore, the
instruction manual must be read and understood by the persons involved before work is
started with the sensor.
In addition to this instruction manual please also note the following:
– all local safety regulations
– all instructions and warning remarks in the publications of the products that are used in
conjunction with the sensor
– all safety precautions for the plant into which the sensor will be installed.
The instruction manual must always be stored close at hand, in a place accessible to all
people working with the sensor.
