Version with planetary gear F 550 GS and F 560 GS

Pump F 550 GS: eccentric worm-drive pump with commutator motor for low-viscosity to
high-viscosity, pasty still free flowing media up to 30.000 mPas according to the eccentric
screw principle. Eccentric worm-drive pump with planetary gear (ratio 1:15.9). The pump is
also available with stuffing box (F 560 GSB).
Pump F 550 GS6: eccentric worm-drive pump with three-phase motor F 403 for viscous
media up to 80.000 mPas according to the eccentric screw principle. Eccentric worm-drive
pump with planetary gear (ratio 1:6.75). The pump is also available with stuffing box.
Pump F 560 GS: sanitary pump with commutator motor for low-viscosity to medium visco-
sity media up to 30.000 mPas according to the eccentric screw principle. Eccentric worm-
drive pump with planetary gear (ratio 1:15.9).
3.2

Version with bearing flange F 550 S and F 560 S

Pump F 550 S - eccentric worm-drive pump with three-phase motor for low-viscosity to
high- viscosity, pasty still free flowing media up to 25.000 mPas according to the eccentric
screw principle with bearing flange in aluminium (F 550 S). The pump is also available with
stuffing box (F 550 SB).
Pump F 560 S – sanitary pump with three-phase motor for low-viscosity to high viscosity,
pasty still free flowing media up to 25.000 mPas according to the eccentric screw principle.
Eccentric worm-drive pump with bearing flange in stainless steel. Ideal for the use in
hygienic applications, as no hidden or inaccessible disposals are possible (F 560 S3A).
Stator housing with safety bar prevents drum liner from being pulled into pump inlet
during pump operation.
Note
On pump models with stuffing box, the stuffing box may be re-adjusted
in case of leakage due to higher wear. To do so, tighten locking screw
by an appropriate tool.

Coupling

4.1

Intended use

The torsionally flexible claw coupling is capable of compensating angular, radial and axial
misalignment caused by manufacturing or assembly tolerances.
The coupling is a component in the sense of Directive 2014/34/EU and may only be used in
or in connection with explosive atmospheres if the following instructions are observed.
The operator must ensure that the coupling is not operated in the range of natural
vibrations.
The coupling material used (Al or PUR) must not be chemically influenced by the surround-
ing atmosphere.
Explosive atmospheres caused by explosive dusts or unstable substances are excluded
from the application.
