WARNING
ELECTRICAL GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS
This heater is equipped with a three prong
(grounding) inlet for your protection against electrical
shock hazard. It must be plugged into a properly
grounded three prong receptacle. Failure to use a
properly grounded receptacle can result in electrical
shock or death.
2. All installations or applications of L. B. White LLC
heaters shall meet the requirements of local, state
and national L.P. gas and natural gas, electrical
and safety codes. Your gas supplier, local licensed
agencies can help you determine these require-
ments. In the absence of local codes, comply with
the following:
a. Installations in the U.S.A.:
-- NFPA 102, standard for assembly seating, tents
and membrane structures
-- ANSI/NFPA 58, latest edition, Standard for Storage
-- ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, National Fuel Gas Code
-- ANSI/NFPA 70, National Electrical Code.
b. Installations in Canada:
-- CAN1-B149.1 or CAN1-B149.2 Installation Codes
-- CSA C22.1 Part 1 Standard Canadian Electrical
Code.
-- CSA C22.2 No.3, Electrical Features of Fuel
Burning Equipment.
3. We cannot anticipate every use which maybe
made of our heaters. Other standards govern the
use of fuel gases and heat producing products
advise you about these. Check with the local
applications.
4. Forced air heaters shall not be directed toward any
propane gas container within 20 feet/6.10 meters.
5. Do not wash the heater. Use only compressed air,
a soft brush or dry cloth to clean the interior of the
heater and it's components.
6. For safety, this heater is equipped with a manual
reset high limit switch, and an air pressure switch.
Never operate the heater with any safety device
that has been bypassed. Do not operate this heater
unless all of these features are fully functioning.
