All the pump controls are located on the Turbo-
DRY front panel. The available controls are:
− ìPOWERî illuminated pushbutton (white lamp):
when pressed the pump is switched on and the
integral lamp lights;
− ìLOW SPEEDî illuminated pushbutton (green
lamp): when pressed the low speed function of
the pump controller is activated and the integral
lamp lights;
− ìFull Speedî LED (green): when this LED is ON
the pump has reached the maximum allowed
speed;
− ìFaultî LED (yellow): when this LED is ON a
fault condition has been detected.
The Turbo-DRY technical characteristics are de-
tailed in the following table.

NOTE
No accessories are available for the Turbo pump,
so the Turbo-DRY cannot be used when the heater
band or the water cooling are necessary, as de-
tailed into the Turbo pump technical manual.

When transporting and storing the Turbo-DRY the
following environmental requirements should be
satisfied:
• temperature: from -20 cC to +70 cC
• relative humidity: 0 - 95% (without condensa-
tion)

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION

The Turbo-DRY is supplied in a special protective
packing. If this shows signs of damage which may
have occurred during transport, contact your local
sales office.
When unpacking the Turbo-DRY ensure that it is
not dropped or subject to any form of impact.
Do not dispose of the packing materials in an un-
authorized manner. The material is 100% recycla-
ble and complies with EEC Directive 85/399.
The following figure shows the Turbo-DRY packag-
ing.
INSTALLATION
The Turbo-DRY installation does not require spe-
cific presettings.
An adequate mains voltage connection is neces-
sary to connect the Turbo-DRY power supply.
During operation the following environmental
conditions must be respected:
• maximum pressure: 2 bar
• temperature: from +5 cC to +35 cC
• relative humidity: 0 to 95% (without condensa-
tion).

The Turbo pump of the Turbo-DRY can reach high
temperature that can cause severe injury.
Pay attention during the unit handling.
