The procedure for adding or replacing a transmitter (if you have more than one transmitter repeat the steps for each one) consists of three
stages which can be carried out directly on the receiver display where possible.
Remember that only programmed transmitters can carry out these functions and one the replacement procedure has been carried out the
old transmitter will be definitely cancelled from the memory.
If at first you don't succeed you my try again ( there is no limit to the number of times the operation can be repeated). Once the operation has
terminated the supplementary data packet in the new transmitter has no value and therefore the transmitter is not a security risk.
1. ACTIVATING THE MODE Activate the adding/replacement mode by simultaneously pressing the "MEMORADIO" button and channel
"A" two times consecutively (or by keeping them pressed for 3-4 seconds depending how many codes are present in memory). If the
display is in a position where it can be read "M-1" will appear which indicated that the function is enabled. If the display is not visible
you will still have 10 seconds in which to go on to the next step.
2. INSERTING A NEW CODE Transmit the code that corresponds to the serial number of the transmitter you are using. Press an release
any button after about 1 second (e.g. on a four channel S486 transmitter it doesn't matter which button you press) "M-2" will appear
on the display to confirm the success of the operation. If the display is not visible you will still have 10 seconds with which to carry out
step 2 after step 1 has been confirmed.
3. CONFIRMING THE NEW CODE ~ PROCEDURE TERMINATED Press and release (after a second ) one of the transmitter buttons
(it doesn't have to be the same button as that used in step 2) to confirm all the information that has been transferred into the receiver.
Remember that once step two has been completed you only have 5 seconds in which to confirm the data otherwise you will have to
start over again from the beginning. To confirm the success of the operation "M-3" will appear on the display followed by the altered
memory location and channel "A" will send an impulse. Assuming that channel "A" controls a gate, at the end of the procedure it will
move to confirming the success of the operation.
