Gathers together all the information regarding program operations that you wish to carry
out.
NEW Indicates the identification number which will be assigned to the transmitter which
is to be programmed. This number in general must be the transmitter's original number
and can be checked using the INFORMATION
OLD Indicates the identification number of the transmitter which will be used to enable the
code addition function or the transmitter to be replaced in the relative procedure.
D Confirms the inserted data and programs the transmitter.
Asks the user to insert the connector of the transmitter to be programmed and then to
start the procedure by pressing the "ENT" key.
Pressing the "ESC" key will move you to menu nr. 35.
Once programming has started it cannot be cancelled even if this message appears
following an error
Indicates that the S486 transmitter is being programmed.
Appears at the end of the S486 programming procedure.
If the process is terminated correctly this message will appear on the display for about
1 second after which you will be moved to menu nr. 25. The appearance of the menu is
accompanied by a beep.
MESSAGES / WARNINGS
Indicates with a "double beep" that the S486 programming procedure has been cancelled.
The transmitter cannot be considered reliable and its correct function cannot be guaran-
teed. As the cause is probably a mechanical connection error (transmitter programming
pins wrongly inserted) will move back to menu nr. 36 to retry the operation with the same
parameters. The transmitters can be reprogrammed many times.
Temporary error message with the sounding of a "beep" and the automatic transfer to
the previous menu after 1 second has passed: indicates that it is impossible to com-
municate with the memory module. Either the memory was not inserted into the socket
at the time the command was given or the memory has been altered. In the first case just
insert the memory module and repeat the operation. In the second case the memory has
been damaged with possible data loss (even if it is possible to read the data it cannot be
considered to be reliable).
Indicates that the palm battery supply (internal battery voltage) the minimum operational
level. In this situation the system will block as reduced power supply could damage the
transferred data. Replace the battery.
Message which advises the installer that the function will only be available after a memory
module has been inserted into the relative socket. It is signalled by a "beep" and after 1 second
it returns to the previously called function
Indicates that the battery power has dropped below the level needed to light up the display. To
conserve energy background illumination will be switched off and the user cannot intervene to
switch it back on. Once you have confirmed the error message by pressing "ENT", you may
carry on with the function you were previously carrying out.
Indicates that the user mem ory is full and no locations are available. Confirm the message by
pressing "ENT". In this condition you cannot add to memory
An out of limits value has been inserted. The indication appears for about 1 second after which
you will be asked for a new value.
