INFORMATION
Shows information (location, numerical code, enabled functions) using three search methods:
NUMERICAL CODE
Searches for all references to the code inside memory. If the code is found an information window indicating the position, code and
functions will appear otherwise the input value will be cancelled from the display and the procedure will wait for another input. Press
the "ENT" button to leave this menu.
VIA RADIO
Searches for all references to the code inside memory. The fact that the code has been received is highlighted by it being shown on
the display and at the end of the search you will be told if the result was positive or four dots ("....") will appear letting you know that
the function was not found. If the code was found press "ESC" to carry out another search. If the code was not found the palm will
automatically wait to receiver another code. If a memory module is not inserted this function will only show the code number allowing
you to identify the transmitter.
LOCATION
Asks you to insert the location where the data is stored. If a code is found in the location the information will appear on the display
otherwise the value will not be considered Press the "ENT" button to leave this menu.
INFORMATION
You can check the status of the memory module actually present in the socket. You can find out the maximum number of users which
can be inserted, how many users are actually present and how may locations are available. This is a read only function and nothing will
be changed within the memory module.
DUPLICATION
Allows you to duplicate a memory module in order to have a back-up copy for emergencies. The function displays the steps to follow one
at a time and can be summed up as follows :
Copy 300-code memory module (24C16):
1. Select the memory copy function
2. Insert the master module in its socket (depends on the type of memory)
3. Press "ENT", the internal memory is initialised and the master memory module is read
4. When the next message appears remove the master module and insert the slave module.
5. Press "ENT", the slave module will be written and a message will appear giving the outcome of the operation
6. Remove all memory modules from the sockets
Copy 1000-code memory module (24C64):
1. Select the memory copy function
2. Insert the master module in its socket (M_64), and the slave module in position (S_64)
3. Press "ENT", and a message will appear showing the progress
4. At the end a message will appear giving the outcome of the operation
5. Remove all memory modules from the sockets
CANCELLATION
Completely cancels the memory and prepares it for a new installation. The procedure is the same for both memory types and in both
cases they must be inserted in the master socket.
Cancellation:
1. Select the cancel function
2. Insert the memory module in the master socket
3. Press the "ENT" button and a message will appear showing the progress of the operation at the end of which you will be returned
to the memory menu.
4. Remove the memory module from the socket
REMOVE PIN
