Warranty

Becker-Antriebe.GmbH.will.be.released.from.all.warranty.and.product.liability.obligations.if.the.customer.modifi . es.the.equip-
ment.without.prior.approval.from.Becker-Antriebe.GmbH.or.if.the.equipment.is.installed.incorrectly.and/or.contrary.to.these.
installation.instructions,.by.the.customer.or.a.third.party.
Any.further.processing.must.comply.with.all.current.statutory.and.offi . cial.regulations.governing.manufacture.and.advice.to.
customers,.especially.the.EMC.regulations..
Intended use
The.S50II.control.is.a.reverse.contactor.control.unit.for.controlling.Becker.drives.with.mechanical.end.switches..These.are.
Becker.roller.door.drives.with.an.internal.brake.as.well.as.Becker.sectional.door.drives..A.safety.edge.mechanism.in.connec-
tion.with.a.Multicard.II.control.card.is.required.for.self-locking.in.the.UP.direction.
Any.other.use.is.strictly.prohibited..The.manufacturer.or.supplier.shall.not.accept.liability.for.personal.injuries,.damage.to.
property.or.for.consequential.damage.arising.as.a.result.of.unauthorized.use.or.device.modifi . cations.which.impair.system.
safety.
Always.observe.the.operating.instructions.when.operating.and.maintaining.the.system..The.manufacturer.or.supplier.shall.
not.accept.liability.for.personal.injuries,.damage.to.property.or.for.consequential.damage.arising.as.a.result.of.improper.han-
dling.

Please.read.these.instructions.carefully.before.operation..Work.on.the.electrical.equipment.must.be.performed.by.a.qualifi . ed.
electrician.
Please.comply.with.the.legal.requirements.(safety,.accident.prevention),.particularly.the.regulations.of.the.employers'.liability.
insurance.association.(BGR.22).and.EN.1245."Safe.use.of.power-operated.doors",.as.well.as.the.applicable.EN.stand-
ards.
The.system.installer.is.responsible.for.correct.assembly,.instruction.of.the.operator.and.for.issuing.of.the.CE.mark.
The. operator. must. ensure. that. the. system. is. only. operated. in. perfect. condition. and. that. the. safety. devices. are. regularly.
checked.by.an.expert..A.damaged.mains.cable.with.CEE.plug.has.to.be.replaced.immediately.by.a.qualifi . ed.electrician..In.the.
case.of.roller.doors,.the.system.construction.on.site.has.to.offer.suitable.protection.for.the.curtain,.so.that.if.it.is.extended.
beyond.the.end.limits,.it.does.not.cause.any.dangerous.situation.and.risk.to.life..The.increased.safety.requirements.of.the.
integrated.operating.elements.result.in.50,000.and.100,000.operations.for.deadman.and.self-locking.operation.respectively.
