6.3 If the appliance is defective

Never use a defective appliance or operate an
appliance with a defective power cord. If the
power cord of the appliance is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturers, their
authorised service representative or a similar-
ly qualified person to avoid danger.
6.4 Disposal
When the appliance has reached the
end of its usefulness, especially if dys-
functions recur, disable it by pulling the
mains adapter out of the socket and
cutting off its connection cord.
