Special Notes
• Only wear compression stockings
after consulting your doctor.
Compression stockings should be
dispensed by trained staff only.
• Should pain or skin irritations occur
while wearing compression stockings,
please take off the stocking
immediately and consult your doctor
or medical practitioner.
• The medi Butler (Valet) has proved to
be the outstanding aid of choice in the
application of compression stocking
and panty hose. Kindly ask for the
medi Butler (Valet) from your medical
practitioner.
• Be careful with sharp fingernails
and rings! In order to avoid damaging
the fine fabric of your stocking handle
gently. Ideally you should use rubber
gloves when putting the stockings on.
Distribute the stocking evenly up over
your leg with palm of your hand until
it fits without creases.
• To make the stockings even more
comfortable to wear you may slightly
adjust the topband several times a
day. The silicone topband may cause
reactions in sensitive persons.
• Your medical practitioner will explain
how to put on the stocking correctly
– please follow these instructions to
ensure that the compression stocking
has the best possible effect.
• Rough or horny heels can easily cause
damage to the stocking because the

heel has to be pulled through the
narrow ankle section of the stocking
during application.
• Please ensure your footwear is in good
condition inside. Any defect on the
shoe lining may increase friction and
quickly lead to damage to the
stocking.
• Please do not repair the stocking
yourself – this may impair the quality
and effect.
• medi stockings are largely resistant to
ointments, skin moisture and other
environ mental factors. However,
certain combina tions may reduce
their durability.
Application instructions
for open-toed compression stockings
and the Easy-On Slipper
• Ideally you should put on your
duomed compression stocking first
thing in the morning, immediately
after getting up.
• Place your foot in the medi „Easy-On
slipper" supplied.
• Gather up the leg section and slip the
stocking over the „Easy-On slipper"
and up the leg, smoothing it up
evenly. Make sure that the stocking is
not twisted or unduly stretched.
• To remove the „Easy-On slipper" from
the stocking, draw the stocking up
from the toes towards and over the
heel. Avoid creases as they could
result in painful constrictions.
The „Easy-On slipper" can now be
removed easily.
• Now pull the forefoot part of the
stocking back over the heel and foot
and smooth it out evenly towards
the toes.
• Ensure that the heel of the stocking is
correctly positioned.
