7.6. Descaling the evaporator tank

Descale the evaporator tank as required. To do this, use a descaling agent for
household appliances. Observe the specifications and safety information of the
manufacturer.
1. Prepare the descaling solution according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Fill the evaporator with the descaling solution up to the maximum mark.
3. Allow the descaling solution to boil for 10 minutes.
4. Wait until the descaling solution in the evaporator has cooled.
5. Place a receptacle under the ball valve on the bottom of the evaporator and
drain the evaporator tank.
6. Rinse the evaporator tank twice with tap water.
