Use as intended
The IS1 infrared control unit is only suitable for use with inherently safe infrared radiators and infrared plates.
Also heed the instructions in the respective manual.
Before commissioning the control unit, the operational state of the cabin must be verified. This applies in
particular if the control unit will be started via remote start. See also the conditions in EN60335 -2-53

Installation instructions – only for experts
The control unit can be surface-mounted, see Chapter 3.1, or countersunk, see Chapter 3.2.
3.1 Preparation of the surface-mounting
In order to surface mount the control, cable lead-throughs must be provided in the cabin wall. The positions
can be found in the figure below.
