Pressure Equipment Safety Notes

Hot Surface
External Sensor temperature can exceed 93°C (200°F). If this surface is contacted, the
potential for injury exists.
To reduce the risk of injury allow the surface to cool before touching.
Sensor Failure
Exceeding rated pressure identified as MAOP may cause Sensor failure and the potential
for injury.
Check all pressure ratings before installing sensors.
Sensor Failure
Sensor ports that are not properly sealed create the potential for injury.
User is responsible for ensuring that all Sensor ports are properly sealed.
Misuse of Equipment
It is the responsibility of the user to account for any potential confusion or misuse of gas
equipment with liquid equipment or visa versa.
Restrict use and repair to qualified personnel.
Chemical Compatibility
If chemical compatibility of materials is ignored the potential for injury exists.
Materials of construction are chosen based on their chemical compatibility (or inertness) for
general purposes. For exposure to specific environments, check with chemical compatibility
charts before installing.
