Adjusting presser foot pressure
押え圧力は、送りが正確にはたらき、安定した縫い目が得られる範
囲で、できるだけ弱い圧力でご使用ください。

sufficient to feed the fabric and obtain the proper stitch formation.

主送り運動量の調節
Adjusting the main feed dog's movement amount
注意 CAUTION
主送り運動量の調節を行う時は、必ずミシンの電源スイッチ
を切り、電源プラグをコンセントから抜いて、専門技術者が行って
ください。
Always turn off the power, unplug the machine and then
authorized technicians are allowed to adjust the main feed dog's
movement amount.
主送り運動量よりも差動送り運動量が多いほど縫い上がった生地は
縮みます。
主送り運動量よりも差動送り運動量が少ないほど縫い上がった生地
は伸びます。

と、プッシュボタンが一段奥へ入ります。

を押したまま、ハンドホイール
右に回すと主送りの運動量は多くなります。
左に回すと主送りの運動量は少なくなります。
差動送り運動量を 4.5 ㎜以上で使用する場合は、主送り歯と
差動送り歯が干渉する可能性がありますので、主送り運動量を調節
後に、必ずミシンを手で回して両送り歯どうしの隙間が約 0.5 ㎜以
上あることを確認してください。
In order to shrink the fabric when it is finished, the differential feed
dog's movement amount should be larger than that of the main
feed dog.
In order to stretch the fabric when it is finished, the differential feed
dog's movement amount should be smaller than that of the main
feed dog.

slightly. Then the push button can be depressed one step
deeper.

To increase the main feed dog's movement amount, turn

To decrease the main feed dog's movement amount, turn

counterclockwise while push button
pressed.
If the machine is used with a differential feed dog's
movement amount of more than 4.5 mm, the main and differential
feed dogs may interfere with each other. Therefore, check to make
sure that there is a clearance of more than 0.5 mm between the
main and differential feed dogs by turning the handwheel by hand
after adjusting the amount of movement of the differential feed dog.
